Every great coastal home has a story. This one starts with Captain Silas.

A rugged Pacific sea otter in a mariner's coat, standing firm on the rocks with a lighthouse behind him and the surf at his feet. Part maritime legend, part heirloom textile — woven directly into 100% cotton with the kind of detail and character that rewards a closer look.

This isn't novelty wildlife decor. It's a piece with a personality — the kind that anchors a beach house living room, earns a permanent spot on the cabin sofa, or makes the kind of gift that actually gets remembered. The jacquard woven construction gives the artwork authentic texture and depth that printed blankets simply can't replicate.

Details

  • 100% cotton, woven not printed
  • Heirloom jacquard tapestry technique with dimensional texture
  • Multicolor fringe on both long sides; black-and-white fringe on top and bottom
  • Made to order in the USA
  • Machine wash cold, gentle cycle, tumble dry low
  • Designed exclusively by Trini Skies

Woven details and plaid scale may vary slightly by size — a natural result of the jacquard process.

Sizing

  • Small — 37" x 52" — lap throw, chair drape, wall hanging
  • Medium — 50" x 60" — sofa throw, generous drape
  • Large — 60" x 80" — bed throw, full wrap

Design Note: Artwork placement shifts slightly with blanket size. Review photos to see how each dimension frames the pattern.

Cotton absorbs color like memory — what you see woven in is built to last.

Made to order — please allow 3–5 business days for production before shipping.

The Beauty of the Loom

Every blanket is physically woven rather than printed. The fringe comes straight from the threads of the weave — a vibrant, multi-color fringe along the sides from the raw thread colors, and a dark fringe at the top and bottom from the foundation threads. Inside the body, those colors cross over a darker base for a pattern that reads richer and more muted than the bright fringe edges. It's a depth and texture printing can't reproduce.
