Some of life’s best moments happen quietly. A cardinal at the feeder before sunrise. A bluebird on a fence post. A chickadee calling from the tree line while a robin works the garden after spring rain.

The American Songbird Heritage Woven Blanket captures those moments in cloth — four of North America’s most beloved backyard birds, rendered in naturalistic detail, surrounding a nest of robin-blue eggs. The design draws from American lodge and countryside tradition: heritage patchwork framing, warm earth tones, botanical accents, and traditional geometric motifs woven directly into the fabric.

Drape it across a reading chair in a sunroom. Layer it at the foot of a guest bed. Wrap it around your shoulders on a cool morning with a cup of something warm. It belongs in the kind of home where the windows stay open and the birds know they’re welcome.

Details

  • 100% cotton jacquard weave
  • Artwork woven directly into the fabric — not printed
  • Signature multicolor fringe on all four sides
  • Soft, substantial drape that improves with every wash
  • Machine wash cold, tumble dry low
  • Designed exclusively by Trini Skies

Artwork placement varies slightly by size — a natural result of the jacquard weaving process.

The Beauty of the Loom

Every blanket is physically woven rather than printed. The fringe comes straight from the threads of the weave — a vibrant, multi-color fringe along the sides from the raw thread colors, and a dark fringe at the top and bottom from the foundation threads. Inside the body, those colors cross over a darker base for a pattern that reads richer and more muted than the bright fringe edges. It's a depth and texture printing can't reproduce.
