The Pacific Sea Otter Throw is a jacquard-woven tapestry depicting a sea otter mother and pup suspended in a Pacific kelp forest — swaying fronds, filtered light, deep coastal water. Woven in midweight 100% cotton, every detail is built into the fabric itself, with real depth and texture.

The fringe runs multicolor along the long sides and black-and-white on top and bottom.

The Art of the Loom

Unlike surface-printed textiles, every thread of this piece is physically interwoven to build tactile depth and structural character.

The fringe is an organic extension of the weave itself—vibrant, multi-tonal yarn along the sides gives way to deep foundation threads at the top and bottom. As these rich colors cross over the dark base, they create a soft, muted artwork within the body that yields a dimensional texture printing simply cannot replicate. No two sizes wear it quite the same — the fringe rearranges itself as the loom scales up, so the Oversized Throw carries its color a little differently than the smaller: black-and-white along the sides, multicolor at the top and bottom.
