Still water. Drifting kelp. A mother and her pup at rest.

The Pacific Sea Otter Throw is a jacquard-woven tapestry blanket depicting a sea otter mother and pup suspended in a lush Pacific kelp forest — surrounded by swaying fronds, filtered light, and the quiet of deep coastal water. Woven in 100% cotton, every detail is built into the fabric itself, not printed on the surface. The result is a piece with genuine depth, texture, and the kind of character that only improves with time.

Care

Machine wash cold · Gentle cycle · Tumble dry low · No dry clean

Design Note: Artwork placement shifts slightly with blanket size. Review photos to see how each dimension frames the pattern.

Cotton absorbs color like memory — what you see woven in is built to last.

The Beauty of the Loom

Every blanket is physically woven rather than printed. The fringe comes straight from the threads of the weave — a vibrant, multi-color fringe along the sides from the raw thread colors, and a dark fringe at the top and bottom from the foundation threads. Inside the body, those colors cross over a darker base for a pattern that reads richer and more muted than the bright fringe edges. It's a depth and texture printing can't reproduce.
