A classic plaid in warm red, deep green and weathered cream, for the cabin hearth, the reading chair and the weeks around Christmas.

Woven from midweight, substantial cotton in a yarn-dyed jacquard process, the plaid keeps its depth of color and its balanced weight, folded at the foot of a bed or thrown over the arm of a leather sofa.

The fringe carries its own detail: a raw multicolor tassel edge along the long sides and a classic black-and-white finish on top and bottom.

Machine washable on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low. Made to order in the USA.

The Art of the Loom

Unlike surface-printed textiles, every thread of this piece is physically interwoven to build tactile depth and structural character.

The fringe is an organic extension of the weave itself—vibrant, multi-tonal yarn along the sides gives way to deep foundation threads at the top and bottom. As these rich colors cross over the dark base, they create a soft, muted artwork within the body that yields a dimensional texture printing simply cannot replicate. No two sizes wear it quite the same — the fringe rearranges itself as the loom scales up, so the Oversized Throw carries its color a little differently than the smaller: black-and-white along the sides, multicolor at the top and bottom.

This is a lovely, well made cotton type throw. It has a good thick feeling. Not like some of the flimsy blankets I've bought in the past. I bought it for my Historical Gentleman's patlor, for my leather chair. I hsveca very Ralph Lauren look. My only criticism is that, in person, the colors are not as deep and rich as pictured. Dome of the colors are too light and rose colored for my room. I am keeping it for another room because it's nice quality for the price.
