Some blankets are decorative. This one is lived in.

The Mesa Serape is a true country-woven throw — crisp market stripes building toward Saltillo diamonds, a multicolor flame band, and rows of geometric arrows running edge to edge. It is the blanket draped over the back of a leather chair at the ranch house. The one pulled off the hook at the cabin door before the morning walk. The one that has been everywhere and shows it, beautifully.

Woven in the American jacquard tapestry tradition, the Mesa Serape carries the warmth of the Southwest and the weight of something made to last. The kind of piece that doesn't stay folded for long.

The Beauty of the Loom

This throw is woven — not printed, not fleece. Every stripe, every diamond, every arrow is formed by the weave itself: color interlocked with color, thread by thread, the way American textile tradition intended. The result is a blanket that holds its pattern through decades of use and washing, because the design is structural, not surface.

Made in the USA from 100% cotton. Finished with multicolor fringe on all sides. Made to order.

A note on color

The Mesa Serape is woven in the full serape palette — warm ivory, terracotta, rust, sage, gold, and indigo. Colors are rich and saturated in person. The multicolor fringe picks up the weft threads from the weave itself, so no two blankets are identical. That is by design.
